Michelle A. Drager, APR, founder and president of The Drager Group, Inc. has over 20 years of experience across corporate, nonprofit, healthcare and service industries. Her portfolio includes international, national, and regional media coverage, award winning branding and Public Relations campaigns, high profile special event, and successful crisis communications management. She has worked closely with well-known politicians and dignitaries, including the then-president George Bush, former-president Jimmy Carter, former vice president Dick Cheney’s chief of staff, Scooter Libby, and Pope John Paul II.

She currently serves on the editorial committee for the Drumming Log magazine for the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in Millersburg, Pa. and is the past chair of their marketing and Public Relations committee. She has served as the chair of a number of galas including the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue Golden Gala on Philadelphia’s Main Line and chaired professional conferences, including the Chesapeake Conference for PRSA in Baltimore, Md. She is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Berks County Chamber of Commerce and other professional and nonprofit organizations.


Education

Her education includes a master of science in marketing, from The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md., dual bachelor of arts degree in journalism and communication, Carlow University, Pittsburgh, Pa., and accreditation by the Public Relations Society of America, which places her in the top 4% of practitioners nationwide.


Personal

She enjoys spending time with her family in an outdoors lifestyle including activities such as camping, boating, fly-fishing, bird hunting, dog events, photography and travel. She was named "Adjunct Professor of the Year" in 2009 at Alvernia University where she teaches entrepreneurship and business courses.
